Symbol, Form, Duration (Of Art & Stars)
This piece is made up of a selection of objects presenting the Apollo 11 lunar landing in combination with things created by me. The Califone tape recorder plays the last six minutes of the lunar landing in a loop. Each element is labelled with precise dates they were obtained/created by the artist as well as provide information to both the relationship between the objects. This piece was a part of We Chose To Go To The Moon at The Austin Museum of Art. A version was also exhibited at Horton Gallery in 2011.
