Void - Grid - Sign
A sound piece in three parts that utilizes William L. Fox's book The Void, The Grid, & The Sign: Traversing The Great Basin, as a starting point. Each section addresses its source point through field recordings, instrumentation, samples from Spaghetti Westerns, Hollywood sound effects, presidential speeches, and The Voyager Record. Installed as a part of the exhibition Sixteen Tons at The Old Jail Art Center. Published in an edition of 50 and available on CD.
