Projects:

How The West Was Won

Published on the occasion of the exhibition Sixteen Tons, this is an eight page, black and white newspaper, printed in an edition of 300. It merges historical texts and images with my own photographs, research, and diagrams. The paper uses the myth of the American West as a jumping off point and seeks to blur the lines between truth and myth, source material, artwork, and gallery guide. In the exhibition it was available as a take-away and for reading within the gallery. The entire stack was presented on a 20" tall pedestal. Published with the Old Jail Art Center. Printed by Newspaper Club in London.
